Kyrgyz GDP decreases by 4.6 percent

Kyrgyzstan's GDP decreased by 4.6 percent in January-August compared to the same period of 2011, KyrTAG reports on Monday with reference to the State Statistics Committee of the republic.

According to the preliminary assessment, the volume of GPD in Kyrgyzstan amounted to 171.543.5 billion soms.

The volume of industry production made up 72.155.5 billion soms.

The index decreased by 31.7 percent during the first eight months of the year compared to January-August 2011.

The official exchange rate is 47.641 KGS to $1 on Sept. 10.
