The WB mission on the real estate registration project is in Azerbaijan, the WB office in Baku told Trend today.

"The visit began yesterday and will run until September 22," the bank said. "It is like a review."
The mission will hold meetings at the State Property Committee. The WB project coordinator is Gavin Adlington.

The government and the WB signed an agreement on the joint introduction of a unified real estate cadastre in July 2007.

The project consists of four components: property, management and state property registration, base cartography and land cadastre, training and the formation of project policy and management.

The project costs $38.57 million with $30 million falling on a loan from the World Bank.
According to the schedule, the project must be implemented on February 23, 2013.
