Turkmenistan, Belarus to hold talks on economic cooperation

The fourth meeting of the Turkmen-Belarusian intergovernmental commission is scheduled for September 19-22 in Minsk, an official Turkmen source said on Monday.

The agenda included the issues of implementing the previous agreements and further cooperation in several key areas of inter-state cooperation.

In particular, the matter rests in the implementation of projects for the construction Garlyk mining and processing plant for the potash production, supply of Belarusian trucks, tractors and agricultural machinery, cooperation in the fields of construction, trade, education, health, science, technology and tourism.

Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the resolution on "Approving the Turkmen staff of the Turkmen-Belarusian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation".
