Minister: Turkey, Iran can sign new agreements in energy sector

Turkey and Iran can sign new agreements in the energy sector, Anadolu agency quotes Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz as saying on Tuesday.

Yildiz said that the differences between Ankara and Tehran on the Syrian crisis do not affect the country's energy policy.

Turkey annually imports eight million tons of oil and eight billion cubic meters of gas from Iran.
