Azerbaijan has discussed further cooperation with the World Bank (WB) and International Monetary Fund (IMF) at the 67th IMF-WB International Meeting in Tokyo on October 12-14, the finance ministry said today.
The Azerbaijani delegation has been represented by Deputy Finance Minister Azer Bayramov. The management of the Central Bank has also attended the meeting.
The development of the world economy, the ongoing debt crisis in the euro zone and its impact on other countries, reduction of unemployment and other issues were discussed. Ministers of Economy and Finance from 188 countries attended the event.
