Kazakh defense enterprise discusses prospects of cooperation with Germany and Poland

Kazakh defense enterprise Kazakhstan Engineering within the visit to Germany and Poland on Oct. 17-20 discusses prospects of cooperation with the companies of these countries, the company said.

Kazakhstan Engineering visited Germany and Poland as a part of Kazakh delegation headed by Deputy Defense Minister, Chairman of Kazakh Defense Ministry's Joint Chiefs of Staff Colonel-General Saken Zhasuzakov.

Within the visit to Germany Kazakh delegation got acquainted with activities of some German defense-industrial enterprises including Abeking & Rasmussen and Rheinmetall Defence Electronics companies.

"The parties discussed prospects of possible cooperation and exchanged views on a wide range of issues," the company said.

Kazakhstan Engineering's representatives also attended demonstration exercises of German Land Forces.

In Warsaw Kazakhstan Engineering's President met with Bumar company's leadership.

"The parties discussed the current state of cooperation in priority areas, and confirmed their interest for ties deepening," Kazakhstan Engineering said.

In October Kazakhstan Engineering and Bumar signed memorandum on cooperation on launching of armored vehicles and personal protection production in Kazakhstan, as well as modernization of land forces weapons and equipment.


The Kazakh National Company 'Kazakhstan Engineering' is administered by the Kazakh Defense Ministry. In total, the company unites 24 enterprises located in different regions of the country.

The company's mission is to ensure strategic state interests in the development of the defense industry, manufacturing high-quality military-industrial products and services to the Defense Department and other law enforcement agencies of Kazakhstan.
