If Ukraine sets certain restrictions on the export of wheat, then Georgia will have no problem in terms of its supply, Georgian Agriculture Minister David Kirvalidze told reporters on Tuesday.

He said in addition to Ukraine, there are other markets such as Kazakhstan and the United States.

"If necessary, Georgia is free to carry out imports from these countries," Kirvalidze said.
He said that the country has enough supply of wheat and there are no threats in terms of food security, but he did not rule out that if necessary, negotiations will begin also with the Ukrainian side.

After the Georgia opposition coalition Georgian Dream Party won the parliamentary elections, bread prices increased by seven cents.

Georgian Parliament approved the prime minister and new government on Oct.25. On the same day new Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili held the first meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers in Kutaisi, which discussed important issues.
