Turkey’s export to Azerbaijan grows by over third

Turkey's export to Azerbaijan reached $225.2 million in November compared to $185.2 million during the same period last year, a report posted on the official website of the Turkish Exporters Assembly said on Monday.

Azerbaijan's share in Turkey's total exports hits 1.6 percent. In January - November 2012 the Turkey's total export to Azerbaijan amounted to $ 2.3 billion.

The goods exported to Azerbaijan by Turkey (including the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic) include wood products (worth $26.8 million), cement ($9.2 million), precious stones and jewelry ($ 3.8 million), iron and steel products ($122.1 million), non-ferrous metals ($3 million), leather products ($ 553.000 ), other products ($ 352.000 million), electric power ($27 million), carpets ($3.7 million), chemical products ($47.4 million), machinery ($ 20 million), textile ($2.1 million)

In November 2012 Turkey's leading foreign trade partners were Germany, Iraq and Great Britain. Turkish goods worth $1.1 billion were exported to Germany, $1 billion to Iraq, and $785 million to Great Britain.
