Georgian agriculture minister to pay working visit to U.S.

Georgian Agriculture Minister David Kirvalidze will pay a working visit to the U.S.

As the ministry told Trend, Kirvalidze will attend a conference organized by the American-Georgian Business Council.

In particular, Kirvalidze will make a speech before the conference participants, during which he will focus on the new Georgian government's priorities and the vision of the development of agriculture on Dec.12.

Within the conference, Georgian agriculture minister will meet with representatives of the World Bank, and acquaint them with the new projects to be implemented in Georgia.

At the same time, Kirvalidze is scheduled to hold meeting in the U.S. State Department, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Department of Agriculture (USDA).
