Iran exports 40 percent of domestically-produced mirror and glass

Iran currently exports 40 percent of domestically-made glasses and mirrors to the Persian Gulf states, Russia, India, and Afghanistan, ISNA quoted Mohammad-Ali Qanbari head of the national union of glass producers as saying.

High quality Iranian products meet the domestic market need and are exported, as well, he added.

A portion of the products is also exported to Europe, he noted.

Bulletproof glasses, security glasses, and dual-layer glasses are manufactured in Iran, he said.
