Ernst & Young celebrates the expansion of its practice in Baku (PHOTO)

Ernst & Young celebrated expansion and success of Ernst & Young's practice in Azerbaijan. The reception held in Hilton Baku hotel on 13 December 2012 hosted more than 200 participants among which were government officials, ambassadors of different countries, and top management of companies operating in Azerbaijan.

Ilgar Veliyev, Ernst & Young Country Managing Partner for Azerbaijan, Karl Johansson, Managing Partner for CIS, and Jay Nibbe, EMEIA Area Managing Partner - Markets, greeted guests and shared their thoughts and observations about the current state and the future of Ernst & Young's practice in Azerbaijan.

"Ernst & Young came to this market almost 20 years ago, and with your help and support we are now the largest international accounting firm in Azerbaijan. We employ around 150 Azerbaijani citizens. I am also proud to announce that we have recently moved into the new office premises at Port Baku", said Ilgar Veliyev.
