"Azeryolservice" JSC of the Ministry of Transport of Azerbaijan declared a tender on selecting a contractor for the construction of a crossroad connecting Masally and Jalilabad road within the scope of the project of reconstruction of Alat - Astara highway according to the announcement published in "Khalg gazeti" newspaper on Tuesday.
According to the announcement, the tender details work on the section of the 32.2nd kilometer. There are 16 automobile and railway bridges along this section. Completion of the road is expected within within 2.5 years.
Participants of the tender should meet the following requirements: the amount of annual construction works during last three years should be at least $ 180 million; for implementing financial obligations, each company should acquire assets that can be sold as well as tax-free tangible assets; each company should have at least two contracts on holding special construction works as a contractor, executive contractor or sub-contractor during last five years with he total price more than $ 150 million.
Fee for a candidate applying in English is 200 AZN, in Russian or Azerbaijani - 250 AZN.
Tender offers together with all required documentation should be submitted until April 30 17.00. Tender offers will be opened on the same day.

The project is financed by the second investment program of the Asian Development Bank on road network development. In October 2012, the board of directors of the ADB approved the program for a total cost of $ 500 million; the first tranche of $ 250 million within the scope of this program for the construction of a 30-kilometer section of Masally-Jalilabad automobile road which in its turn is by turn part of Masally-Shorsulu automobile highway. The total cost of the project is $ 312 million including the share of Azerbaijan at the rate of $ 62 million.
