Kazakhstan increased raw, semi-finished gold and gold in power production in January-February 2013 by 18 percent to 6.908 tons compared to the same period of 2012, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported with the reference to the Kazakh Statistics Agency.
Refined gold production increased by 20.2 percent to 3.707 tons in this period.
Raw, semi-finished silver and silver in power production rose by 23.5 percent to 162.876 tons, including 162.388 tons of refined silver (up 23.9 percent increase).
Refined raw, unalloyed copper production in January- February increased by 2.3 percent to 57,535 tons, raw zinc production decreased by 4.3 percent to 50,011 tons.
