Consumer good prices and tariffs on services increased by 0.5 percent in Feb. 2013 compared to the previous month. Inflation hit 1 percent in Jan.-Feb. 2013, the State Statistics Committee said on Monday.
Food prices increased by 1 percent, nonfood goods and tariffs for services remained unchanged in Feb.
Food prices fell by 0.2 percent, non-food prices rose by 0.4 percent, tariffs for services - by 3.4 percent compared to January-February 2012.
In Feb., the base index of consumer prices, which does not include goods and services subject to seasonal changes (fruits and vegetables) where the prices of which are regulated by the state, increased by 0.1 percent compared to the previous month and by 0.5 percent compared to Jan.-Feb., 2012.
