In the first quarter of 2013, exports from Georgia comprised approximately $ 400 million, which is $16 million more than in the first quarter of 2012, Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri said at a press conference Wednesday.

January, when a 27-percent growth was recorded in the country, is particularly interesting in this regard. During the first quarter of 2013, the consolidated budget surplus amounted to 168.8 million GEL. 1.1 million Georgian lari are mobilized from the treasury today. This is a significant figure. This amount will be directed towards the implementation of the approved budget, more precisely, its expenditure part. It is important that infrastructure projects also increased," Khaduri said.

He also said that the figures on implementation of the budget allow saying that Georgian government will fulfill all its promises.
