Azerbaijani Amrahbank’s profit increases by 10 times

According to the results of the 1st quarter of 2013, profit of Amrahbank increased by 10 times compared with corresponding period of the last year and amounted to 1.6 million manat, the bank’s press release says on Tuesday.

According to the results of the 1st quarter of 2013, profit of Amrahbank increased by 10 times compared with corresponding period of the last year and amounted to 1.6 million manat, the bank's press release says on Tuesday.

Income of the bank has increased 60.2 percent in comparison with corresponding period of the last year and amounted to 5.4 million manat. Expenses of the bank have increased by 19.82 percent and amounted to 3.9 million manat.

The size of the assets of "Amrahbank" on the reporting period amounted 105.2 million manat growing by 22.7 percent compared to the corresponding period of the last year.

The loan portfolio grew by 47.25 percent in comparison with corresponding period of the last year and 2.25 percent in comparison with the beginning of the year and amounted to 83.9 million manat, including the volume of consumer loans, which increased in comparison to the previous year by 65.4 percent and by 5 percent in comparison with the beginning of the year up to 68.7 million manat.

Deposit portfolio of the Bank increased by 9,3% in comparison with corresponding period of the last year and amounted AZN 60,2 million manat, including retail deposits, which increased in comparison with corresponding period of the last year by 19,3% and by 2,04% in comparison with the beginning of the year up to AZN 44,8 million manat.

At the same time, the aggregate capital of the Bank increased with corresponding period of the last year by 34.1 percent and by 6.1 percent in comparison with the beginning of the year up to 27.5 million manat. The charter capital of the bank increased by 17.34 percent and amounted to 17.3 million manat.
