Assets of American Insurance Company’s subsidiary in Azerbaijan slightly increase

Assets of American Insurance Company's subsidiary in Azerbaijan - Chartis Azerbaijan amounted to 9.15 million manat as of 2012, increasing by 4.1 per cent, the company's balance sheet said today. Financial accountability was audited by insurance company PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Some 5.4 million manat have been accumulated on time deposit accounts and 0.51 million manat were invested in securities in 2012.

Chartis Azerbaijan's paid authorised capital stood at 6.79 million manat in 2012 similar to 2011.The company completed 2012 with a net profit of 143,640 manat.

The total capital of the company at the end of last year amounted to 6.64 million manat, increasing by 2.3 per cent compared to 2011.

Total liabilities of the company amounted to 2.51 million manat, increasing by 9.6 per cent and equity and liabilities as a whole were 9.15 million manat with a growth of 4.1 per cent.
