"Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park" of the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry has determined a winner of the tender to purchase the operations of leveling a 137.66 hectare of its 167.66 hectare total territory in the city of Sumgait, the tender commission said today.
According to the report, "Elegant Co" company won the tender. A contract was signed with the company on May 2.
According to a presidential decree on the establishment of the Sumgait chemical industrial park which was signed in December last year, the Ministry of Economic Development was entrusted to implement measures supporting the creation and development of production and processing chemical industry companies at the Sumgayit chemical industrial park to enhance the capacity of the chemical industry and establish private enterprises in the area and manufacture competitive products from local raw materials.
The official exchange rate is 0,7845 AZN/USD on May 6.
