Caspian-European Tourism Club, operating within Caspian-European Integration Business Club (CEIBC), has held a closed meeting in Baku on September 10. Presiding at the meeting was Elgun Mammadov, General Manager of Grand Hotel Europe and Co-President of Caspian European Tourism Club.

Participating in the event were executives of hotels, air and tourism companies of Azerbaijan. This event was held within the framework of preparation for the meeting of CEIBC member companies with Ministers of Tourism and Culture, Transport, Finance, Taxes, Economic Development, Labor and Social Protection, as well as with the management of the Central Bank of AR, Milli Majlis, State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patent, and State Committee for Securities.

Chief Executive Officer of CEIBC Telman Aliyev told the event participants about objectives and tasks of the Club. He noted importance of such events for representatives of various branches of economy in terms of establishment of "business-government" dialogue and added that companies must put forward proposals to representatives of the government agencies since these offers will promote business climate improvement.

Elgun Mammadov noted a special role of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan in development of the tourism sector of the country. He offered companies to tell not only about problems, but also propose solutions for them. He also suggested companies to be more active in promotion of Azerbaijan's image.

The companies discussed issues they are interested in, problems and considered ways of their solution.
