Azerbaijan has increased its industrial output by 2.8 times for 10 years by bringing its volume up to 34.565 billion manat at current prices by late 2012, the State Statistics Committee told Trend on Monday.
The production in the mining industry increased by 2.9 times - up to 25.61 billion manat, in manufacturing industry - by 2.1 times - up to 7.03 billion manat, production, distribution and supply with electricity, gas and ferry - by 55.5 percent - to 1.72 billion manat, in water supply, waste management - by 5.1 times - up to 0.2 billion manat.
During the reporting period, the production of paint products increased by 84.2 percent - up to 3,500 tons.
Meat production increased by 2.3 times - up to 277,400 tons, milk - by 68.3 percent - 820,000 tons, pasta - 10.9 times - up to 11 tons, vegetable oil - by 3.5 times - up to 99,800 tons, sugar and granulated sugar - by 222.2 times - up to 355,700 tons, tea - by 91.1 percent - to 10.7 tons, wine - by 85.9 percent - to 1.06 million decalitre.
The official exchange rate is 0.7845 AZN/USD on Sept. 16.
