The share of construction in Azerbaijan's GDP will increase from 9.2 per cent in 2012 to 14.8 per cent in 2017.
The forecast of the Azerbaijani government is reflected in Azerbaijan's socio-economic development concept in 2014 and further three years.
According to the forecast, the rate was 10.9 per cent in 2013, 12.3 per cent in 2014, 13.2 per cent in 2015 and 14.3 per cent in 2016.
Real GDP growth ensured by this sector was 17.3 per cent in 2013 (20 per cent in 2011, 18.4 per cent in 2012), 17.9 per cent in 2014, 6.4 per cent in 2015, 12.6 per cent in 2016 and 8.1 per cent in 2017.
GDP in construction will hit 5.977 billion manat in 2013 (4.141 billion manat in 2011, 4.994 billion manat in 2012), 7.184 billion manat in 2014, 7.809 billion manat in 2015, 9 billion manat in 2016 and 9.959 billion manat in 2017.
