Turkey modernizes eight customs checkpoints

About eight customs checkpoints have been modernized in Turkey, Customs and Trade Minister Hayati Yazici said, Anadolu agency reported on Nov.15.

According to the minister, some 265.2 million lira was allocated for the modernization of customs checkpoints.

The minister stressed that another five customs checkpoints are expected to be modernized.

According to the official statistics, 33 customs checkpoints operate in Turkey.
