36,910 cars worth $330.32 million were exported from Georgia to Azerbaijan in January -October 2013, the Georgian Statistics Agency's report said on Nov.28.
According to the report, the share of this category in the total volume of Georgian export to Azerbaijan in the period was 56.72 percent.
The export volume of passenger cars from Georgia increased by 16.61 percent and in quantitative terms - by 23.81 percent or 7,100 cars compared to the same period of last year. For comparison, around 29,810 cars to the amount of $283.28 million were exported from Georgia to Azerbaijan in January -October 2012.
Some 3,160 trucks to the amount of $20.51 million were exported to Azerbaijan in ten months of 2013 or by 15.18 percent less (in quantitative terms - by 22.96 percent more) compared to the same period of 2012. For comparison, 2,570 trucks to the amount of $24.18 million were exported from Georgia to Azerbaijan in January -October 2012.
Goods worth $582.38 million were exported from Georgia to Azerbaijan in January -October 2013 or 25.3 percent of a total export volume during the period.
Exports to Azerbaijan increased by 11.17 percent compared to the same period of 2012. For comparison, Georgian goods worth $528.88 million were exported to Azerbaijan in January- October last year.
