Around 17,470 tons of live cattle worth $43.76 million were exported from Georgia to Azerbaijan in January - November 2013, the Georgian National Statistics Service said in its report today.
The share of this category in the total volume of Georgian exports to Azerbaijan for the period totaled 6.76 percent, according to the report.
The cattle export volume from Georgia increased by 20.88 percent, and in quantitative terms - by 5,740 tons compared to the same period of 2012. By comparison, around 11,730 tons of live cattle worth $36.2 million were exported from Georgia to Azerbaijan in January-November 2012.
Some $647.06 million worth of goods were exported from Georgia to Azerbaijan during the reporting period which accounts for 24.7 percent of the total volume of the country's export during the reporting period.
Exports to Azerbaijan increased by 11.8 percent compared to the same period of 2012. By comparison, Georgian goods worth $578.18 million were exported to Azerbaijan in January-November 2012.
