From now on, banks will submit statistical reports to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) on their cash turnover only in e-form.
The Central Bank has approved a new instruction for the preparation and presentation of a statistical report on cash turnover. The relevant decision of the CBA was published in the register of legal acts of the country's Ministry of Justice.
According to the document, a report in which the statistical unit must collect information from all its branches will be given on a monthly basis and only in electronic form, whereas in the previous instruction the report could also be given in paper form.
The report should be submitted to the CBA within the first three working days of the month following the reporting month. The report must also be confirmed with an e-signature of the head and chief accountant of the statistical unit.
