By Fatih Karimov - Trend: The Statistical Center of Iran has said that the national economy shrank 2 percent in the first half of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-September 21, 2013), the Mehr News Agency reported on February 25.
However, the economy's contraction was minus 1.7 per cent excluding the oil sector.
