The annual summit of the International Transport Forum (ITF) will be held in Leipzig (Germany) from May 21 to May 23.
The forum, to be chaired by France, will be dedicated to the topic entitled 'Transport for a changing world', Azerbaijan's Transport Ministry said.
Transport ministers, representatives of governments, international organizations, NGOs, scientists and entrepreneurs of a number of countries will participate at the summit, the Transport Ministry said.
During the forum, it is planned to discuss the issues regarding the creation of high-quality transport networks, the impact of transport on the environment and public health, demography and so on.
The Azerbaijani delegation at the forum will be headed by the country's Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov.
