Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev launched an online production line for energy boiler equipment of "Petropavlovsk Heavy Engineering Plant" JSC, which has no analogues in Kazakhstan, during the national teleconference held on July 2.
"The purpose of the project is the implementation of the import substitution strategy, allowing domestic enterprises to transfer to using domestic power equipment," the press service of the NC Kazakhstan Engineering JSC said.
The production line will make equipment for the energy, metallurgical and oil refining fields (gas-tight membrane sheet panel for heating, coils packages, blocks of water economizer, non-standard equipment and spare parts for the repair and restoration of power equipment, pumps and boiler plants, etc.).
The maximum capacity lines are 1,500 tonnes per year. The plant plans to annually produce 5,600 tonnes of finished products.
With the launch of this project, volume of production of about three billion tenge ($ 1, 183, 5 tenge) annually will be added to the existing production capabilities at JSC "Petropavlovsk Heavy Engineering Plant"
The project cost is 600 million tenge ($3,278 million). It should be noted that the implementation of the project was carried out at the expense of "NC "Kazakhstan Engineering" JSC funds.
The launch of the energy power boiler equipment will create additional 68 job opportunities.
"Petropavlovsk Heavy Engineering Plant" JSC (subsidiary of "NC" Kazakhstan Engineering"JSC) is a leading Kazakh manufacturer of oil and gas producer, energy and railway equipment, which has multidisciplinary production facilities with the presence of all technological processes required for the release of this product. The plant produces more than 40 kinds of products for the petrochemical and energy industries. In 2011, the company celebrated the 50th anniversary of the first production output.
