Astana, Kazakhstan, Sept.24
By Daniyar Mukhtarov - Trend:
Events in Ukraine have not affected the delivery of equipment from that country to Kazakhstan with regards to the energy facilities of the Republic, Chairman of the "Samruk-Energo" Board Almasadam Satkaliyev told Trend.
"There are no failures in supplies and contacts with partners from this country," Almasadam Satkaliyev said.
He recalled that Kazakhstan traditionally purchases equipment for a number of energy facilities in Ukraine. Major buyers of Ukrainian equipment are the largest hydroelectric power station in the north of Kazakhstan Ekibastuz HPP-1 and HPP-2.
"The power plant in Yereimentau (near Astana) is a good example of the continuation of cooperation on supplies. We fully purchased towers in Ukraine for the project," Satkaliyev said.
