Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan signed an agreement on "Cooperation in the field of prevention and liquidation of emergency situations".
The agreement was signed during a visit of a delegation led by Minister of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov to Uzbekistan.
During the visit, an expanded meeting was held between the delegation led by Heydarov and Minister of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan Tursinkhan Khudaybergenov.
They discussed the cooperation issues between the Ministries of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan during the meeting.
These issues covered the emergency situation management relating to the prospects of sharing the experience of both countries in the field of training and effective response to the natural and man-made emergency situations, as well as the issues of mutual interest.
