Prices for housing slightly dropped in Kazakhstan in May, Statistics Committee of Kazakh Ministry of National Economy said.
The prices for housing have decreased by 1.4 percent in May compared to April, the prices for comfortable housing have dropped by 0.1 percent, while the prices for uncomfortable housing remained unchanged, said the committee.
The prices for the new housing and those in the secondary housing market in Kazakhstan increased by 3.5 percent and 5.9 percent, respectively in January-May 2015, compared to the same period of 2014.
The rental payments for the comfortable housing have increased by 0.3 percent in May, compared to April. The rental payment for the comfortable housing in Kazakhstan has increased by 7.2 percent in January-May 2015, compared to the same period of 2014.
