Serbia mulls introducing visa-free regime with Azerbaijan (UPDATE)

Serbia is considering the introduction of a visa-free regime with Azerbaijan, Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajić told reporters as part of the fourth meeting of the Azerbaijani-Serbian intergovernmental commission Sept. 28.

Serbia is considering the introduction of a visa-free regime with Azerbaijan, Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajić told reporters as part of the fourth meeting of the Azerbaijani-Serbian intergovernmental commission Sept. 28.

"We offered full liberalization of the visa regime for citizens of both Azerbaijan and Serbia to be able to travel without a visa from one country to other," Ljajić said.

Ljajić said that Serbia offers to initiate a direct Belgrade-Baku flight.

"This will help expand and improve both the tourist and in general, the economic relations between our countries," he said.
