Turkmenistan to commission large gas chemical complexes in 2018

Commissioning of two large industrial gas chemical enterprises is planned in Turkmenistan in 2018, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper said Oct.21.
Thus, the designing and construction of large-scale gas chemical complex in Kiyanly settlement of Turkmenbashi etrap in Balkan province of Turkmenistan with an annual capacity of 5 billion cubic meters of gas provides further release of 386,000 tons of polyethylene and 81,000 tons of polypropylene per year, said the article.
Contractor of the erection is a consortium of Hyundai Engineering Co., Ltd, LG International Corp. and Toyo Engineering Corporation companies, the article said.
A plant for the production of high-quality gasoline from natural gas, which is under construction in the village of Owadan Depe in Rukhabat district of Akhal province, should become another important object having no analogues in the world, according to the newspaper.
Contractor of this unique company's construction is a consortium of Kawasaki Heavy Industries LTD and Rönesans Endustri Tesisleri Insaat Sanayi Ve Ticaret AS companies, said the article.
Equipped with the latest technology, the plant will annually process 1 billion 785 million cubic meters of natural gas and release 600,000 tons of A-92 (Euro-5) high quality gasoline per year, according to the article.
