Turkmenistan, Iran to sign package of intergovernmental documents

A package of intergovernmental documents is planned to be signed as part of Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammadov's official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran November 22-23, the Turkmen government said.
A wide range of interstate cooperation issues, including the economic, transport and communication sectors, will be on the agenda of the Turkmen-Iranian summit talks.
President Berdimuhammadov will take part in the summit of heads of state - gas exporters Nov. 23. The Turkmen leader was invited as guest of honor.
The positive and dynamic nature of relations between Turkmenistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran, based on the traditions of friendship and good neighborly relations was stressed at the recent meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, Altyn Asyr TV channel said.
The regular bilateral meetings and negotiations at the highest levels, as well as a solid legal framework of the Turkmen-Iranian cooperation testify to this.
Turkmenistan and Iran effectively cooperate in a format of regional and international organizations and develop the mutually beneficial trade and economic partnership.
