Azerbaijan imported over 2.2 tons of medication in the amount of $25.78 million from Georgia in January-November 2015.
The physical import of medication increased by 30.3 percent and in value terms - by 1 percent during the period.
The share of medication in a total volume of Azerbaijani import from Georgia was 11.15 percent.
Georgia exported medication in the amount of $120.75 million during this period. Some 21.35 percent accounted for the share of Azerbaijan.
The exports from Georgia to Azerbaijan reduced twofold and amounted to $231.28 million (11.5 percent of a total volume of Georgian exports) during this period compared to January-November 2014.
Azerbaijan ranks first in terms of imports of goods from Georgia.
Bulgaria ranks second - $198.87 million (9.8 percent of the total export volume) and Turkey ranks third - $174.22 million (8.6 percent).
Cars, medication, cattle, steel fittings and other goods are the main items exported from Georgia to Azerbaijan.
