Azerbaijan produced 43,700 tons of polyethylene in January-May 2016, which is 7.3 percent less than in the same period 2015, says a report of the country’s State Statistics Committee.
The country produced 23,200 tons of propylene during that period, which is 13.3 percent less than in January-May 2015.
Some 29,000 tons of barium sulfate were produced in Azerbaijan in January-May 2016, which is 24.6 percent more than in the first five months of 2015.
The report also says the country produced 4,500 tons of isopropyl alcohol in January-May 2016, which is 0.7 percent less than in the same period 2015.
