Azerbaijan’s Qala Insurance OJSC has presented its managers to the public in a message posted on the company’s website.
According to the message, Qala Insurance’s Board of Directors is headed by Fuad Guliyev.
The Board of Directors has two members – Vusal Abbasov and Nargiz Nasrullayeva-Muduroglu.
The insurance company’s Management Board, led by Viladi Maniyev, has two members – Chief Accountant Elmar Islam and Chief Actuary Ulkar Ahmad-zada.
Qala Insurance’s Audit Committee is chaired by Emin Aslanov and has two members – Gunduz Mammadli and Nazim Akhundov.
Shafiga Hajibayova is the head of the company’s Internal Audit Department.
The company was established on Dec. 24, 1998 as a joint venture between American International Group Inc. (AIG), the world’s largest insurance organization, and Azerbaijan’s Caspian Insurance Company to service clients in Azerbaijan and Georgia.
In September 2015, Azerbaijan’s AzRe Reinsurance OJSC acquired the 100-percent share of the company and it was renamed to Qala Insurance Open Joint Stock Company.
