Official exchange rate of the Azerbaijani manat against the US dollar was set at 1.5456 manats for July 8, said Azerbaijan's Central Bank July 5.

Thus, manat's rate against the US dollar decreased by 0.2 percent compared to July 5.

Manat's rate against the US dollar as of July 5 (1.5425 manats) will remain unchanged July 6-7.

The State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) sold $50 million to 29 banks through an auction held by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), SOFAZ said July 5.
