The Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has unanimously re-elected Takehiko Nakao as the bank’s president for five more years.

The Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has unanimously re-elected Takehiko Nakao as the bank’s president for five more years, said ADB in a message.

Nakao was elected ADB president on Apr. 28, 2013. He is the ninth president of the bank.

ADB, based in Manila, was established in 1966 and is dedicated to reducing poverty in Asia and the Pacific through inclusive economic growth, environmentally sustainable growth, and regional integration.
