Kazakhstan’s Zhairem Mining and Processing Plant had a profit of 2.27 billion tenges in 1H 2016 versus the loss of 188.29 million tenges (334.5 tenges = $1) in the same period of 2015, according to the plant’s financial statements posted on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange’s website Aug. 15.
The plant’s revenue was 12.25 billion tenges in January-June 2016 as compared to 2.31 billion tenges in the same period of 2015.
The Zhairem Mining and Processing Plant’s assets rose from 28.47 billion tenges to 30.65 billion tenges in 1H 2016. Its equity rose from 19.6 billion tenges to 20.53 billion tenges.
The plant’s liabilities rose from 8.87 billion tenges to 10.12 billion tenges during the period.
The Zhairem Mining and Processing Plant is located in Kazakhstan’s Karaganda region. Some 99.9 of its shares belong to Kazakhstan’s Kazzinc.
