Turkey eyes to open shopping malls in 20 countries

Turkey intends to open shopping malls in 20 countries until late 2017, Nihat Zeybekci, Turkish economy minister, said.

Zeybekci made the remarks in the parliament November 10 while discussing the draft state budget for 2017.

He said the first shopping mall will be opened in Tehran.

“The shopping malls are also planned to be opened in Dubai and New York,” the minister said.

He added that the purpose of opening the Turkish shopping malls is to increase the country’s exports to the world market.

Zeybekci didn’t specify the opening date of shopping malls.
