The composition of Supervisory Board of the IBA-Moscow [a subsidiary of the International Bank of Azerbaijan in Moscow] has changed.

The bank told Trend Mar. 14 that Zaur Garaisayev has been appointed as chairman of the Supervisory Board and Agshin Amirov – as a member of Supervisory Board.

This has been decided recently by the bank’s sole shareholder – The International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA).

Garaisayev’s appointment was announced in January 2017, however, the official decision has been made recently.

Amirov and Garaisayev succeeded, respectively, Mazahir Dadashov and Elmir Habibullayev on these positions. Members of the Supervisory Board are elected for a period of one year.

Currently, Agshin Amirov and Elmir Habibullayev are also deputy chairmen of Management Board of the IBA, and Zaur Garaisayev is adviser to chairman of IBA Management Board.

Under the IBA’s another decision, member of IBA-Moscow’s Board Gulu Abbasov has left the bank on his own will. The bank told Trend that it is currently unknown who will hold this vacant position.

Currently, the bank’s Management Board consists of: Emin Efendiyev – chairman, Rafael Abbasov – deputy chairman and Svetlana Sarzhina – chief accountant.

The IBA-Moscow was created in 2002 as a subsidiary of the International Bank of Azerbaijan, a major part of assets of which is owned by Azerbaijan’s Finance Ministry.
