Bank BTB OJSC, Azerbaijani subsidiary of Russia’s VTB Bank, completed 2016 with a net loss of 141.01 million manats, reads the company’s audit report.
During the reporting period, interest income of the bank amounted to 43.17 million manats or 17.3 percent less than in late 2015.
The bank’s interest expenses totaled 28.37 million manats in 2016, which is 43.7 percent more than in late 2015.
Net interest income of Bank BTB amounted to about 14.8 million manats in 2016.
The bank completed 2016 with non-interest expenses of 16.08 million manats.
Also, 19.45 million manats accounted for operating expenses during the reporting period.
