As of June 1, 2017, bank reserves totaled 2.98 billion manats in Azerbaijan, increasing by 43.6 percent (2.07 billion manats) as compared to May 2016.
According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), as of late May 2017, the expanded monetary base amounted to 10.08 billion manats in the country (an increase by 20.9 percent as compared to the same period of 2016). This figure was 8.34 billion manats as of May 2016.
As of June 1, 2017, monetary base totaled 7.78 billion manats compared in Azerbaijan as compared to 7.64 billion manats in early June 2016.
During the period, the amount of cash in circulation was 7.05 billion manats, while this figure was 6.24 billion manats as of June 1, 2016.
