The volume of foreign investments put in Azerbaijan’s fixed capital amounted to 4.28 billion manats in 1H17, which is by 0.5 percent more than in the same period of 2016 (4.26 billion manats), according to a report of the country’s State Statistics Committee.
During the period, 83.7 percent (3.58 billion manats) of investments, put in Azerbaijan’s economy by foreign countries and international organizations, accounted for investors from the UK, Turkey, Malaysia, Switzerland, Russia, Iran, US and Japan.
Within the reporting period, the biggest volume of foreign investments put in Azerbaijan’s fixed capital accounted for April (770.2 million manats), and the lowest accounted for January – 654.1 million manats.
