Premiums collected by Azerbaijan’s 10 major insurance companies totaled 132.46 million manats in January-July 2017, said the Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FIMSA).
The figure accounts for 92 percent of the total insurance premiums collected during the reporting period.

Ateshgah Life ranks first in terms of the premiums collected during the period with a share of 21.2 percent in the total collected premiums. The company’s collected premiums reached 30.52 million manats in January-July 2017.
PASHA Life ranked second in the list with 19.4 percent (27.91 million manats), being followed by PASHA Insurance with a share of 16.9 percent (24.32 million manats).
Twenty-two insurance companies operate in Azerbaijan.
