Azerbaijan’s PASHA Bank will allocate 14 million manats to finance three agricultural projects soon.

Azerbaijan’s PASHA Bank will allocate 14 million manats to finance three agricultural projects soon, Khayala Naghiyeva, a member of the bank’s Executive Board, told Trend Oct. 5.

“At present, the loans are being considered,” she said. “I think they will be approved soon.”

“In general, the agricultural loan portfolio is the healthiest in the bank’s total loan portfolio,” Naghiyeva said. “There are no problem loans in that sector.”

According to PASHA Bank’s financial statements, in January-June 2017, the loans allocated by the bank to agriculture sector amounted to 63.03 million manats, which is 30.1 percent more than the figure for June 30, 2016.

PASHA Bank, founded in 2007, is the biggest corporate bank in Azerbaijan.
