The number of unemployed people in Kazakhstan amounted to 438,900 as of September 2017, the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan said in a message.
The rate of unemployment is 4.9 percent of the number of the country’s economically active population.
The employment agencies of Kazakhstan have registered 128,800 unemployed people as of late September 2017, according to the ministry.
The index of consumer price increased to 104.2 percent as of September 2017, compared to the same period of the previous year.
Prices for food products increased by 3.1 percent, prices for non-food products increased by 5.5 percent.
