The Russian airline UTair received permission to increase the number of flights on the Moscow-Ganja route from five to seven times a week, says a protocol of the Interdepartmental Commission for the selection of carriers on international routes of Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia).

The protocol also notes that the comission refused the request of "Ural Airlines" for the same route.

UTair obtained permission to fly on the Moscow-Ganja route in March 2016.

Currently, the company operates flights on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
