Small tourist clusters will be established in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The State Committee for Tourism reported that the first such cluster will be created on the capital's Gagarin Street. It will become a place where tourists can taste various dishes, including local cuisine, do shopping and have fun.
There will be souvenir shops, as well as artisan workshops, restaurants with different cuisine, art-coffee, etc. There will be organized performances of folklore ensembles, rope walkers, various cultural and entertainment events.
Realisation of these plans is carried out by the State Committee of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development and Khokimiyat of the Chilanzar District.
Such small tourist clusters are planned to be created also in other districts of Tashkent, in particular Mirzo-Ulugbek, Yunusabad.
